Here is the bottom of the credenza being edged in hardwood. The gentle curve of the credenza is part of an ellipse which meant it was easier to take a direct read of our curve with a bevel gauge rather than try to work out a mathematical formula. The doors and drawers were coopered using this method. This is where having a full scale drawing of your piece is important.
