Here Evan shows off the fruits of his labor. This is a solid piece of cherry eight feet long and four inches wide. We cut saw cut ( kerfs) into the back face. The cuts are made every half inch and go within an eighth of an inch from the surface. The piece worked great. We were able to curve it around our frame and cut the miters on the ends, creating a beautiful looking base for the credenza.
