There's definitely a feel of fall in the air these days. My sons thoughts have turned to Halloween.
Today we played mad scientist and created our own Frankenstein monster.
What a blast we had turning a simple block of wood into the mad monster. We cut the block into a smaller block. We taped off an area with painters tape that we later painted black for his hair. When the paint dried we drew his face with a black sharpie marker. We then drilled a couple of holes in his neck where we attached lags screws. The whole project took less than an hour to make, including the time it took for the paint to dry. A simple block of wood out of the scrap bin, some paint and a couple of bolts or screws created a great time with my son. i think I had more fun than him. It's not fine woodworking but it's worth so much more'
Thanks for following
Best
Steve
