The word must have got out that I needed a new miter saw.  I want to thank Chris Keffer at Dewalt tools for his very generous donation of a , new to the market, 20 volt cordless miter saw.  This miter saw is small in comparison to others, it's only 7 1/2 inch but it gets a greater cut because it's a sliding , compound miter saw.
